Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
was born in a yurt in Amdo, in Eastern Tibet. Interested in the traditional healing science of his people, he began his early medical studies at the local Sorig hospital. Later he gained scholarship entry to Lhasa Tibetan Medical University, where he completed his medical education in 1996.
Dr. Nida completed his practical training at the Sorig hospitals in Lhasa and Lhoka.
Alongside his medical education, Dr. Nida received complete Vajrayana Buddhist training in the Longchen Nyingthing and Dudjom Tersar traditions and trained in the Yuthok Nyingthig lineage, spiritual counterpart to Sorig, with his teachers Khenchen Troru Tsenam and Khenpo Tsultrim Gyaltsen. He received the transmission with the empowerment to teach and further transmit the Hayagriva Tantra and the Yuthok Nyingthig from Khedrup Michötsang. He has published many articles and books on Sorig. He has extensively researched ancient Tibetan healing methods, and has gained high acclaim in the East and West for his revival of traditional Tibetan external healing therapies.
Dr Nida is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Sorig Khang International (formerly IATTM, International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine). He is also the Co-Founder of the International Ngak Mang Institute, established to preserve and maintain the Rebkong Ngakpa yogic culture within modern Tibetan society.
Dr. Nida trains students in Sowa Rigpa and the Yuthok Nyingthig spiritual tradition in over 40 countries around the world. Living in Rome, Italy, he frequently returns to Tibet & Asia, to stay informed of, and assist with, the advancement of Tibetan medicine.

Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
Il dottor Nida Chenagtsang
è nato in una yurta ad Amdo, nel Tibet orientale. Interessato alla scienza curativa tradizionale del suo popolo, ha iniziato i primi studi di medicina presso l'ospedale locale di Sorig. In seguito ha ottenuto una borsa di studio per l'Università di Medicina Tibetana di Lhasa, dove ha completato la sua formazione medica nel 1996.
Il dottor Nida ha completato la sua formazione pratica presso gli ospedali Sorig di Lhasa e Lhoka.
Oltre alla formazione medica, il dottor Nida ha ricevuto una formazione buddista Vajrayana completa nelle tradizioni Longchen Nyingthing e Dudjom Tersar e si è formato nel lignaggio Yuthok Nyingthig, controparte spirituale del Sorig, con i suoi maestri Khenchen Troru Tsenam e Khenpo Tsultrim Gyaltsen. Ha ricevuto da Khedrup Michötsang la trasmissione con il potere di insegnare e trasmettere ulteriormente l'Hayagriva Tantra e lo Yuthok Nyingthig. Ha pubblicato molti articoli e libri sul Sorig. Ha condotto numerose ricerche sugli antichi metodi di guarigione tibetani e si è guadagnato grandi consensi in Oriente e in Occidente per il suo recupero delle terapie tradizionali tibetane di guarigione esterna.
Il dottor Nida è cofondatore e direttore medico di Sorig Khang International (ex IATTM, International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine). È anche cofondatore dell'Istituto Internazionale Ngak Mang, creato per preservare e mantenere la cultura yogica Rebkong Ngakpa all'interno della società tibetana moderna.
Il Dr. Nida forma studenti in Sowa Rigpa e nella tradizione spirituale Yuthok Nyingthig in oltre 40 paesi del mondo. Vivendo a Roma, in Italia, torna spesso in Tibet e in Asia per tenersi informato e contribuire al progresso della medicina tibetana.
