1. Program Overview & Core Values

The Tibetan Medicine Healer Program offers a comprehensive foundation in Sowa Rigpa, the traditional medical science of Tibet. Rooted in an unbroken lineage of physicians, yogis, and Buddhist scholars, the program presents both the classical principles of Tibetan medicine and their practical application for contemporary life.

Designed for practitioners,

Designed for practitioners, therapists, healthcare professionals, yoga and meditation teachers, and dedicated students of healing, the curriculum combines rigorous study with direct experience. Students learn not only the theoretical framework of Sowa Rigpa, but also how to observe, cultivate, and restore balance through lifestyle, diet, contemplative practice, and traditional healing methods.

Learning takes place through live online classes and intensive residential trainings at Yuthok Ling in Arce, Italy, where study is integrated with daily practice and direct guidance from senior teachers.

Throughout the program, students are encouraged to deepen both intellectual understanding and personal experience, recognizing that the study of Tibetan medicine begins with one's own body, mind, and relationship with the natural world.

Dr. Nida’s vision is to make the Sowa Rigpa healing tradition accessible worldwide.

This program is a step toward that vision, rooted in an authentic lineage and adapted to the challenges of modern life.

“My wish is that Tibetan Medicine will spread as widely as the infinite vastness of the sky, for the benefit of all sentient beings.”
YUTHOK YONTEN GONPO padre della medicina tibetana, XII secolo
